happy hump day! we’re getting close to the weekend i can feel ittttt!

So yesterday in downtown Baltimore was a little crazy. There was a huge water main break and it practically shut down the city around the harbor. Instead of my usual 10 minutes to work it took me 45. I anticipated going home for lunch but with all the mess in the city there was no way. With no lunch with me, I opted for a little salad bar from WF. Nothing to complain about 🙂

I threw a bunch in there and ended up with some beans and rice, asian broccoli salad, beet and carrot salad, pasta with salmon, a plantain and some curried roasted sweet potatoes. YUUUUUUM I am so in love with their salad bar. Sometimes I see nothing I want, but other times I want absolutely everything in there.

Since downtown was so bad I wasn’t able to go to Bikram 😦 i’m “hoping” for it today. This morning I had to take an alternate route, so hopefully it will be clear by after work. If not i’ll just have to wait longer. boo.

When I got home I had my intended lunch for dinner. I made a side salad with some italian dressing and some avocado and paired it up with the other half of my amys pizza.

I did manage to take apart an unwanted armoir in my room and also get everything organized! Pic of the room to be posted soon! Finally!! I also shredded last night too. Even though I didn’t get my bikram in, I still got my 3 mile run and a level 1 shred done. I just really want to make the most of my month at the studio.

 

Biggest loser last night was so good. It’s crazy to see how far they’ve come. They kept recapping back to the beginning of the season and they don’t even look like the same people. I CAN NOT WAIT for the finale in 2 weeks. I’m really excited for next week too to see how they did when they went home for 30 days. I have no idea who I think is going to win. Speaking of biggest loser, has anyone read Jillian’s new book Master your Metabolism? There are some awesome reviews on Amazon and I really want to read it. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about it? Gracias

This morning I had a yummy breakfast cookieeee. I’ve been seeing some people making them with applesauce instead of bananas. I’m going to give that a try next time and see if it changes the hardness of the cookie.

What i’m also really excited about is getting to go to a Core Fusion class this weekend. With the two Core Fusion dvds I bought there is a coupon inside for a free class at their studio. I have two free passes, and they have a studio in Bridgehampton which is really close to where chase lives. I’m so excitedddd! I hope I can do both classes over the weekend while i’m there. Crossing my fingers! if i do go, i’ll be SURE to let you guys know it goes. I have a feeling they’re going to kick my bootyyy. Oooh i cant wait!

    Bummer about missing out on Bikram – I know how frustrating those days can be. BUT you still managed to run 3miles AND shred! way to go!!! I can’t wait to hear about the Core Fusion class. 🙂

    AND as always, your eats look great – especially that ‘zza…I need to try Amy’s pizza!

    Amy’s never seems to let you(and me) down!! I don’t think I’ve ever had something from Amy’s that I didn’t like..

    The Whole Foods salad bar as the ability to just make my whole day! 🙂
    I think I am the only person in the blogworld who doesn’t watch The Biggest Loser. I think I would like it though. Maybe I’ll try to catch the next season so I can watch it from the beginning!

    Do you think you could post the recipe for you bfast cookie? I see them all over, but always forget how they’re made!!!

    I’ve only had a whole foods pre-made salad, and that was pretty bangin’. I’m sure if I got to go hog-wild on the hot bar, things would get dirrty. YUM.

    What a bizarro day! At least you got some awesome workouts in and some delightful pizza!

    I heard about that water main break on the news yesterday – what an awful mess! I hope today you’re able to get some yoga in 🙂 or at least something make up for lack thereof yesterday! Although I must agree with you – I wouldn’t be complaining either about being forced to eat WF for lunch 😉 haha good pick!

    i love TBL, i cant wait to see what happens when they are at home too!!! that show is so darn addictive. thank goodness for recording it though…two hours can be a lil intense!! hope you are having a good humpday whoohoo 🙂

    Can’t wait to hear what you think of the Core Fusion class! I plan on going next weekend!! I am trying my first Vinyasa yoga class tonight too! Can’t wait! Crazy about the water break!

    AHh, hate when traffic spoils my plans.

    Glad you got some WF, though! So good but so pricey! I’m glad the WF is sort of far away from me. 🙂

    Pretty looking Whole Foods meal. I will have to get to one of their stores one day and try it out. Too bad we don’t have any grocery stores here like that, although I guess it’s good for my wallet 😉
