Happy Wednesday ๐Ÿ™‚ย

this morning was a little hectic for me. I overslept! ah, i hate that. So i only had time to brush my teeth and throw my clothes on before getting on the road to work. Luckily I made my lunch last night so I could just do a grab and go. I had breakfast in the car, a ziplock bag of puffins and an apple. I also have recently gotten hooked on dried apricots when I went to go visit my sister. so i bought a bag of those and munched on them practically all day ๐Ÿ˜‰

Group power was a doozy. The instructor is so awesome and she really made us work today. I felt great after but during it i really thought my muscles were going to collapse! So many reps its crazy. I seriously love this class. When I got back ย from the gym I had a turkey, avocado and lettuce sandwich on some TJ brand sprouted bread. Tasted just like ezekiel to me, and a few bucks cheaper. SCORE! Thennnnn the magic happened. And that magic my friends, is the chocolate brownie flavor pure bar. I’m telling you the flavors just keep getting better and better each one i try. This no joke was a fudgy brownie with walnuts. The only problem i had with the bar was that it wasn’t bigger ๐Ÿ™‚ I didn’t want it to end. You should have seen the tiny bites i kept taking to make sure it lasted longer haha. if you see this bar, buy it and eat it pronto you will not regret it!

After work I finally took my car to the car wash it was getting so dirty. now its so fresh and so clean. wooo. After the wash, i ran over to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients for my tiger butter that Christie won in Meghann’s bake sale. Ah this fudge is seriously amazing. its white chocolate, pb, and semi-sweet chocolate. And to make it even MORE special i bought some mighty maple from pb&co. It’s in the fridge chilling right now… so i’ll post pics of it in the morning when I cut it up! I hope you like it Christie! its made with lots o loveeee.ย

I had a bag of pizza dough in the freezer from TJs, and i decided it was time to bust it out. I ripped off a little piece and made some of the Zaatar bread from miss Sabrina at RhodeyGirl Tests. It was glorioussss! All i did was roll out the dough, brush on some olive oil, and sprinkle the zaatar spice over it and cooked it in the oven. It came out so perfect, and i made a little olive oil/fresh ground pepper/salt dip to go with it. It really reminded me of the amazing bread at macaroni grill. It was wonderful, and i have so much of the zaatar left i can use it for many many more! thank you Sabrina!! loved it so much.

With the rest of the dough I decided it was Pizza night. This topping combo was a knockout. I used pesto as the base, grilled eggplant, artichokes, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and some reduced fat italian blend cheese. ahh heaven!!! my dad loved it too. I had 2 slices, and then afterwards went back for a little sliver more. It was just too good! these pizza doughs are so convenient, and i think its like 99 cents at trader joes. They rock.ย

I continued on with my kitchen fiasco and made some of Tina’s banana oatmeal chip cookies.ย ย ย These were SO easy to make and they were amazingly moist and delicious. I made half with chocolate chips, and added walnuts to the cookie dough. The ingredients were healthy, and they tasted sinful ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks for the recipe tina, these will be making regular appearances in my baking adventures.ย

I’ve seen Zaatar used before on the Food Network, but never seen it in the store. I guess you could make your own blend pretty easily though. Love the idea of having frozen pizza dough to whip up a pizza (or flatbread) whenever you want. I didn’t even know you could freeze the dough!

For a girl who does not like pizza, why is it it always looks AMAZING on these blogs?!?! And yes, KIND bars are seriously my fav, probs absolute fav bar of any of them. And they’re not really that addicting either-like I can almost stop at one..:P I don’t know why I’m so freaked out by this yoga thing! It’s just I’m a TRUE beginner. I’m going to call them today and see if other beginner’s feel OK haha!

That pizza looks incredible! I’ll have to look out for pre-made dough like that. I typically buy the not-so-healthy pillsbury…sssshh!

    Have a great day!

wow! that pizza looks so good. i love coming up with fun creations like that one. one of my top favorite un-pizza-like pizzas is whole wheat dough with light motz, tons of mushrooms, sea salt, and halved grape tomatoes. It’s seriously delish! and the cookies look awesome too. So funny, they look almost identical to the oatmeal/bing cherry/pomegranate/dark choc ones I baked the other night!!!
