Getting antsy

January 16, 2009

Ah, my 25 minute run today went so well! I really haven’t felt that energized running on the treadmill in a while, so it felt good to be done my run and not feel like i’m about to keel over. Really refreshing! Lunch today was Amy’s Cheese Enchilada meal. This is hands down my favorite Amy’s meal. It doesn’t look the prettiest, but it is by far the tastiest to me! I loooveee it! It comes with 1 cheese enchilada and corn and black beans. heaven in a paper bowl 🙂 I also snacked on the other half of my Kind bar, and then some grapes. Before I left work I had a string cheese to get me through to dinner. My mom made me some chinese noodle soup tonight for dinner, this is such a fresh meal. It has my favorite noodles at the bottom (not sure what theyre called,  i just know that they’re really chewy) and broth with cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, spinach, shrimp, pork, and egg. My dessert tonight was half of a ww cin raisin english muffin with almond butter, swirl of agave, and some chocolate chips. Perfect ending to my meal.

Tonight i’m laying low waiting for my boyfriend to arrive. He’ll probably get in around 11. AH SO EXCITED! Until then i’m going to clean up a little then probably relax with my book. Tomorrow morning I have my yoga class! First class of the session and I’m getting so antsy for it to get here!  It’s from 8-9:30, so the bf will probably still be sleeping until we get back. I got a guest pass for him to my gym, so i’ll be doing some cross training then. Have any of you heard of the espresso stationary bikes? They have a few of them at my gym and I am jumping on one as soon as i  get there tomorrow. They are so fun! it’s got an interactive screen, so you are watching the screen while you are riding and are actually moving the handle bars and going through the course. You are racing other people, and if you have someone sitting next to you riding you can actually virtually race them. It is so much fun! and its like you’re playing a video game and you don’t even realize you  are working out. But every time I get off the bike, my legs are completely worn out. I guess it’s kind of like a wii fit game? I’ve never played anything on the wii before, so i’m not totally sure.  I hope you all have had a great Friday and enjoy the weekend! try and stay bundled up!

That’s good that your run went so well! I get so bored running on the treadmill so even though I can run for 25 minutes straight on the track I feel like I get too tired after only 10 minutes on the treadmill, it’s strange!

Have fun with your boyfriend and at yoga tomorrow!!

Do you ever freeze grapes? They are so yummy that way & also fill me more than when they are not frozen. Weird how that works!
